Key Information

Ebrington Square was officially launched on 14 February 2012.  Measuring over 5 acres, the multi-purpose shared space is a key venue in the city, playing host to a range of events throughout the UK City of Culture including BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, 2013 Turner Prize, the Walled City Tattoo, the Lumière Festival and Fleadh Cheoil na h’Éireann, with audiences in excess of 500,000.  A range of other sporting, family, charity and cultural activities also take place on an annual basis.
