Today, Ilex’s Chair, Philip Flynn welcomed the Department of the Environment’s announcement of planning approval for the 26-acre Ebrington site.
Philip Flynn said: “I welcome the DoE Minister’s decision to grant planning permission for Ebrington. This is a significant step in the future development of the site, a further catalyst for economic and creative growth, with the potential to create 2,400 jobs. The announcement marks significant work by Ilex in the completion and approval of the Ebrington Development Framework, having already secured tenants currently on site such as the DoE, Walled City Brewery, Eighty81 Creative Hub, Ollie’s Café and the Ilex offices. Phase 3 of site marketing will see further progression of the site”.
